Once your repair is logged with Edunet we keep you updated every step of the way

A couple of points to keep in mind when logging a repair with us:

  • Insurance (also known as Accidental Damage Protection, or ADP) covers any accidental damage to the laptop, such as dropping the laptop and liquid spills.
  • Laptop warranty covers all manufacture faults while the device is within warranty.
  • If your device does not have any warranty or insurance, we can quote the laptop for repairs after inspection of the device.
  • Please ensure your device is backed up before any service work is completed as data loss can occur during the repair process.
  • Most software faults will need to be referred to your school for assistance. Please reach out to Edunet if you are still having difficulties with this.

Edunet has its own customer-built service portal to assist with the logging, viewing and updating service jobs.

  • On the homepage you will be able to see a summary of your logged jobs, with a graph of dates logged.
  • The job list page will allow you to go into more details on jobs and see updates such as ETA’s and technicians' notes.
  • If you have a job that was closed in the last 30 days you can see all of them on a single page.
  • A search function is also built in to look up previous jobs via serial or reference number.
  • Logging jobs has become easier with drag and drop attachments, auto-fill of school details, and categories for insurance, ADP and warranty.
